Jarod Boyer

Director of Development and Culture

A Colorado native, Jarod Boyer began his service career early as one of the youngest Search and Rescue Technician in Colorado history and a firefighter at 17, responding to the Waldo Canyon and Black Forest fires. He holds a degree in Philosophy and Theological Studies and is a founder of the Colorado Bartenders Guild. A competitor at the regional level of the United States Barista Championship, Jarod eventually found his way to wine and spirits—a passion serious enough to lead him to produce rum on a 15-gallon still in his kitchen. He has helmed programs recognized by Wine Spectator's Grand Award, Forbes Five Stars, and AAA Five Diamond, among others. His resume includes Lead Sommelier at The Broadmoor, followed by Next in Chicago and Senior Sommelier at Alinea. He loves skiing, The Pitt, anything Philippe Pacalet makes, his wife, and his dog.
